Akinori Oishi – Giappone

Akinori studied fine arts at Kyoto City University of Art followed by a course in multimedia at IAMAS (International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences / Japan). After winning a 2001 MILIA award (from the prestigious international multimedia conference in France), he worked at the French creative design studio Team Chman (2001 – 2003).
He has created character illustrations for the major advertisement projects such as Nivea, Coca-Cola and Emirates Airline. Today, back to his home country, he’s based in Japan and also connected Asian markets. In Taiwan, it’s featured at Ppapers magazine 2007, Dpi magazine 2008 – exhibitions at Happy Living (Museum of Tomorrow 2007), Very Fun Park 2 (Fubon Art Foundation 2007) and Low Pose (Xue Xue institute 2011). As his successful career, he’s selected “the 10 best character designers from Asia” by Cut Out magazine in Malaysia 2011. And his solo book has been published “The Daily Sketch” from Korean Aer-Editions 2013. In 2014, his solo exhibition show at the gallery Everyday Mooonday in Seoul.
